I have a BS in Elementary Education, and I hold a current teaching license. I’ve been teaching in a variety of capacities for over 20 years. I’ve been a tutor, a homeschool teacher, and a classroom teacher.
I specialize in individualized learning for students in Pre-K through 8th grade. Skills and concepts are easier to learn and retain when students receive customized lessons. I enjoy helping children gain content knowledge, essential skills, and confidence.
I’ve taught every level from Pre-K through 12th grade. Because of this, I have a clear vision of the skills and knowledge needed to move forward from one step to the next.
I’ve taught students who are gifted, as well as those who have special needs, including Down Syndrome, ADHD, autism, dysgraphia, dyslexia, dyscalculia, anxiety, depression, and sensory processing disorder.
As both a teacher and a parent of children with disabilities, I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach his or her full potential. I think outside the box, so every child can thrive. I also use best practices, such as multi-sensory learning, to fully engage my students.
I provide both virtual and in-person services. In-person services are offered in or near Highlands Ranch, CO. To learn more, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
